FAQ's
Our Tall Pine team will be happy to answer questions you have about any property we offer. Once ready to book, we’ll discuss your group dynamic, reason for your stay etc. Once everyone is comfortable and ready to proceed we’ll connect you to the owner to complete your booking.
Yes, all of our homes are owned by private individuals or their companies. They range in size from a couples retreat to large homes accommodating the whole family. They are priced accordingly and by location and amenities offered. Many are used as family cottages by their owners and are offered for rental where possible, others are used for rental purposes only.
All of our owners have been verified prior to ever being listed on our website or social media. You never have to worry about being scammed out of money or showing up to a rental that doesn’t exist. We’ve done the work for you!
Tall Pine is a TICO registered travel agency and we encourage you to look us up.
Booking directly with Tall Pine and our owners can save you 10-15% over other rental platforms that charge guests a fee to use their site.
Many of our cottages are pet-friendly and their owners welcome four-legged guests. They will ask you to follow their pet guidelines and pick up waste regularly, not allow pets onto furniture, ensure all dog hair is vacuumed before your departure, as well as any other rules outlined by the owner. We would also like to point out that a ‘no pet’ rule does not mean there has never been a pet on the property.
During the winter, snow will be removed from driveways, and shoveled away from doors prior to occupancy. In most areas snow clearance is undertaken by private companies who have a pre-determined schedule of ploughing. After significant snowfall it may take a few days before snow is cleared from all the cottage roads in the vicinity of a cottage. Often, main roads are municipally cleared. Please check our ad and/or with the owner of the property you have booked for specific instructions.
