About The Space
Welcome to Vista Lakehouse, a spectacular waterfront retreat overlooking the pristine waters of Doe Lake near Katrine, Ontario. Offering 250 feet of private shoreline and more than 3,000 square feet of beautifully designed living space, this four-season getaway is ideal for large families, reunions, and group vacations. Just two and a half hours from Toronto and minutes from Huntsville, the property combines breathtaking lake views with endless opportunities to explore Muskoka’s natural beauty.
The lakehouse comfortably accommodates up to sixteen guests across six spacious bedrooms, multiple gathering areas, and three full bathrooms. The primary suite enjoys a private loft with its own ensuite, while the lower-level recreation space offers additional sleeping options for larger groups. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed fibre internet, a 75-inch Smart TV with IPTV, central heating and air conditioning, onsite laundry, and a wood-burning fireplace with firewood included. Families travelling with young children will appreciate the available crib, high chair, pack and play, and baby gate, while an EV charger adds convenience for electric vehicle owners.
Outdoor living is where Vista Lakehouse truly shines. The gently sloping sandy shoreline and small beach area provide easy access to Doe Lake, making it perfect for swimming, paddling, and relaxing by the water. Guests can bring their own boat or arrange rentals delivered directly to the property, then spend the day exploring the lake by canoe, kayak, paddleboard, or pedal boat. Back at the cottage, enjoy friendly competition with the pool table, shuffleboard, ping pong, foosball, retro arcade games, Super Nintendo, darts, and board games before gathering around the fire pit or cooking dinner on the propane BBQ while taking in the panoramic lake views.
Perfectly positioned for year-round adventure, the property is just a short drive from Arrowhead Provincial Park, Huntsville, scenic hiking trails, ATV and snowmobile routes, and countless outdoor attractions. A large municipal beach, park, and basketball court are also within walking distance, giving guests even more ways to enjoy the area. Our stay at Vista Lakehouse was wonderful. Lots of room for our large group. Well-equipped kitchen and roomy living space. Great water access and perfect for the kids (ages 2–14 yrs). Lots to do, and the fire pit, dock, and sun deck were all great!
Appreciated the A/C, and even the generator came in to use for a short period.
Info booklet was very detailed, providing lots of good info before we arrived.
Would recommend this cottage
