About The Space
Welcome to Marmora Getaway, a relaxing waterfront bungalow on the crystal-clear Crowe River where comfort, recreation, and convenience come together for the perfect four-season escape. Situated on a private half-acre property just a short walk from the heart of Marmora, this inviting retreat offers direct access to 16 kilometres of navigable river, making it an excellent choice for families, anglers, and anyone looking to enjoy life on the water. Only two hours from Toronto, it’s an easy getaway that feels worlds away from the everyday.
The cottage comfortably accommodates up to eight guests, with a maximum of six adults, across three welcoming bedrooms and a full bathroom. Inside you’ll find a bright, fully equipped kitchen with safe drinking water, a dedicated coffee bar with a Keurig Duo, central air conditioning, onsite laundry, unlimited comforts for families travelling with young children, and thoughtfully furnished living spaces designed for relaxing after a day outdoors. Linens, bedding, bath towels, and even guest robes are provided, allowing you to pack light and settle in with ease.
Step outside to enjoy one of the property’s standout features—its beautiful weed-free waterfront, enhanced by a brand-new sandy beach installed in 2025. The gradual, shallow entry makes swimming enjoyable for guests of all ages, while a quick paddle down the river opens into deeper water that’s perfect for boating, fishing, and exploring. Spend your days kayaking, canoeing, casting a line from the dock, or soaking in the covered hot tub before gathering beneath the covered outdoor dining area for dinner. A pool table, foosball, basketball net, dart board, hammock, and an impressive selection of lawn games ensure there’s never a shortage of entertainment for the whole family.
Marmora’s welcoming small-town atmosphere adds even more to your stay, with shops, restaurants, the LCBO, playgrounds, splash pad, tennis courts, and community events all within walking distance or a short drive. Public boat launches, nearby golf courses, hiking and ATV trails, snowmobile routes, wineries, ski hills, and the charming communities of Campbellford, Madoc, and Havelock are all easily accessible throughout the year. Whether you’re enjoying peaceful mornings by the river, spending sunny afternoons on the new sandy beach, or unwinding beneath the stars after another day outdoors, Marmora Getaway offers a relaxed waterfront experience that’s easy to return to season after season.

We had such an amazing stay at this cottage! From the moment we arrived, it felt warm, welcoming and perfectly set up for relaxation. The location was stunning-peaceful surrounded by nature and just the right mix of privacy and convenience.
The cottage itself was spotless, cozy and beautifully maintained. The interior had everything we needed: a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and thoughtful touches that made it felt like home. The outdoor space was a real highlight- we loved spending evenings by the fire pit, mornings with coffee on the deck and afternoons exploring the nearby trails and waterfront.
What truly stoodout was how much care clearly goes into making guests feel comfortable. Everything was easy from check-in to check-out, and the host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We would come back here in a heartbeat and recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, memorable getaway.
